What is Good for Ganondagan is Good For So Many Others
As much as it is a place of peace, Ganondagan is also a place for sharing knowledge. The Seneca Art and Culture Center will allow us to expand on our current learning opportunities with community, institutional, educational and recreational partnerships and explorations in archaeology, American and Native history, art, agriculture, botany, horticulture, sociology, peace and mediation, nutrition, women's studies, and sustainable living.
And the new distance learning capabilities will provide a major expansion of Ganondagan's global impact.
The Center will be a compelling year-round attraction drawing visitors from New York State, across the country, and around the globe. Forecasts show a 50% increase in visitors within the first three years of the Center's opening, beyond the current 35,000 annually. Increased tourism through greater capacity and year-round capability will result in both local and regional economic benefit.
Community and corporate groups as well as individuals will be able to rent the facilities for performances, events, and meeting space.
