So That the Story Never EndsThe Signatures of the Seneca is the $10 million campaign to build and endow the new Seneca Art and Culture Center at Ganondagan. It is a collaborative venture between the non-profit Friends of Ganondagan and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation. The campaign pools the resources, energy, and enthusiasm of a diverse group of individuals and organizations including - but not limited to - New York State, the Seneca Nation of Indians, Thaw Charitable Trust, Davenport-Hatch Foundation, and the Ithaca-based Ongweoweh Corporation. This group, along with others who step forward to support its mission, will ensure that the authentic living culture and history of the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), the Seneca Nation, and its people are protected in perpetuity at their traditional homeland - Ganondagan.

"For the last decade, Ganondagan Site Manager Peter Jemison has shared his dream with partners and philanthropists from all corners of NY State and across the country. The resulting support raised thus far in a challenging economic time is a tribute to his conviction and ability to convey the importance of this project to the Seneca people and to all of us. I invite even more of our friends to help us present the history and continuing contributions of the Haudenosaunee people to our local and global visitors year-round." Ebets Judson |
