The 1794 signing of the Canandaigua Treaty is commemorated annually by Native and non-Native peoples alike at the boulder by the original Canandaigua Signing location every November 11th.
The celebration features:
- A parade on Main Street
- A ceremony & keynote speakers at Council Rock
- Native craftspeople and vendors
- A pot-luck dinner and social
All events are free and open to the public and we welcome you to come and join us in celebrating the wonderful historic event!

Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to help us - you can volunteer as much or as little as you would like! It's a great way to get out and meet some new people plus celebrate an important historic event. We have many different volunteer needs - we need people to help prepare food, serve food, clean-up, and set-up/take-down before and after the event.

Vendors
This event features a wide-range of Native American vendors selling hand-crafted items and Native American themed items. Be sure to check this out for some unique gifts for family and friends this holiday season!

Space is limited and if you are selected as a vendor a copy of your tribal ID will be required as part of your vendor registration process.
