Anyone who has ever visited Ganondagan State Historic Site knows firsthand the visual beauty of the trails, the bark longhouse, and the flora and fauna that inhabit the site's more than 600 acres. Acknowledging the area's many gifted amateur photographers, Friends of Ganondagan announces its first ever photo contest for a 2012 Ganondagan calendar.

Photographers should submit original, hi-res photos (between 1-10 MB and in jpg format) taken since 2009 anywhere on the Ganondagan grounds or at a Ganondagan-sponsored event. Thirteen photos will be chosen for the calendar (one cover and one for each month). Photographers are encouraged to submit photos reflecting all four seasons. If a photographer chooses to include people in their submission, the photographer is responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, and must be able to provide copies of those releases to FoG upon request. Prizes including a free 2012 Ganondagan calendar will be awarded to the winners.
