Date: Thursday December 6, 2012
Description: Changing Hands, the MAG's upcoming exhibit (Nov. 18, 2012 - Feb. 10, 2013) presents new works in a variety of media demonstrating how indigenous cultural values and aesthetics are being renewed by artists caught between traditional and dominant cultures. On December 6th, you'll experience a cross-cultural and inspiring evening, helping to inform and shape the way we look at art as an expression of culture. Enjoy an exclusive tour by G. Peter Jemison, one of the exhibition's featured artists and Ganondagan Site Manager. Join us for a special multi-media presentation and a stimulating evening of conversation. Enjoy food and drink, and stay for entertainment by Iroquois social dancers.
