Garlic Mustard Pesto
4 cups packed garlic mustard leaves
1 cup packed fresh basil
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste
Steam the garlic mustard just until tender and bright green. Put garlic mustard in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Transfer to a warm bowl, and add the Parmesan and enough water to thin to the desired consistency. Serve on pasta, steamed vegetables, baked potatoes, or baked fish.

Note: In the US, garlic mustard is an alien, invasive weed that is damaging to native ecosystems and should be pulled out wherever it is found. This recipe allows you to eat what bothers you!
