A:hgwa (Strawberry Bread)

1 cup cornmeal
1 egg
1 cup flour
1/2 cup finely chopped wild strawberry leaves
1 cup water
2 tablespoons nut oil (walnut or hazel)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup fresh wild strawberries

Beat the egg and oil together. Add the leaves, salt and water. Blend in cornmeal and flour. Mix until dry ingredients are thoroughly moistened. Gently fold in the strawberries. Grease a 4" x 8" loaf pan and pour in batter. Bake in a 425 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes.

Lactose free. Vegan.
