Join us for an inspiring day at RMSC honoring Indigenous creativity, resilience, and food sovereignty. Experience the vibrant Native Made Market featuring local Indigenous makers, explore hands-on activities including Grandmother pot coloring and community beading projects, and immerse yourself in the powerful exhibition Hodinöšyö:nih Continuity | Innovation | Resilience.


Featured Film Screening & Talkback (3:30pm)Don't miss a special screening of Kanenon:we – Original Seeds, the newest documentary from acclaimed filmmaker Katsitsionni Fox (Akwesasne Mohawk). This powerful film follows three Haudenosaunee women; Angela Ferguson, Rebecca Webster, and Rowen White; as they reclaim their sacred role as seed keepers, protecting endangered Indigenous heirloom seeds and working toward food sovereignty in the face of corporate control over global seed biodiversity.


Following the screening, stay for an intimate talkback session with filmmaker Katsitsionni Fox and Ansley Jemison of Original Peoples' Podcast, presented in partnership with Friends of Ganondagan. Explore the urgent work of seed rematriation and what's possible when Indigenous communities reclaim their ancestral responsibilities for future generations.


Festival activities run 11 am–5 pm | Film screening at 3:30 pm in Bausch Auditorium
