Celebrate Indigenous culture at our Infusion of Indigenous Food & Arts on Saturday, December 6th.


Shop for unique handcrafted gifts from Indigenous artisans, enjoy foods and teas made with ingredients native to Turtle Island, and experience Haudenosaunee winter storytelling by Perry Ground (Onondaga) and the beautiful flute music of Dan Hill (Cayuga).

10 AM - 4 PM Native Arts Vendors

11 AM & 2:30 PM Storytelling with Perry Ground (Onondaga)

12 PM Music with Dan Hill (Cayuga)

11 AM – 2:30 PM Food for Sale, $15/plate

Featuring recipes inspired from Potawatomi chef, Loretta Barrett Oden’s Corn Dance cookbook, and Oglala Lakota Sioux chef, Sean Sherman’s Turtle Island cookbook

 

Lobby

10 AM – 4 PM Raffles

10 AM – 3 PM Wampum display table

11 AM – 2:30 PM Cashier for food tickets (or as long as food lasts)

Hands on Activities with Haudenosaunee Artist/Demonstrators

$5 per person, per activity

10 AM – 11 AM Tonia Loran-Galban (Mohawk) – Splint ornament. 

2 PM – 3 PM Ronnie Reitter (Seneca) – Tree of Peace ornament or necklace 

Max of 20 participants for each workshop.
