Hope

Hope is a little girl corn husk doll, who is watching her world around her. She represents the voice for the next generation. The white dress is representative of purity and innocence, the sunflower necklace is a sign of beauty but also happiness and optimism. The outlook of her life is full of possibilities and positive energy, she knows nothing of the turmoil and uncertainty surrounding her at the moment and from the past. The moment of sweetness is how I would like to represent peace and peacefulness. She sits up playing with her moccasins reaching out and fascinated with the simpler things and times.
