Haudenosaunee women are making great strides in the fashion industry. They are exercising artist sovereignty and bringing forth their voices through imagination, creativity, and culture. My pieces represent a traditional art form that was once done by our maternal ancestors and I strive to bring this back in our communities so that the women can be proud of our history and heritage.
