In collaboration with the Rochester Museum & Science Center, Ganondagan proudly presents: Haudenosaunee Astronomy; filling your spirit with stardust and astronomical knowledge.

Samantha Doxtator (Haudenosaunee, Oneida – Wolf Clan) carries forward a legacy on Indigenous astronomical knowledge, continuing work gifted to her by her late sister, Sasha Doxtator, who passed away in 2021. Her presentations invite audiences to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine their relationship with the universe. You will be guided through stories and teachings that have long served as roadmaps, helping communities navigate and honor the sacred relationship between humanity and the cosmos.

Her insights remind us that Indigenous peoples have observed, understood, and

taught about the sky for thousands of years, and that these knowledge systems must be uplifted and protected. Samantha blends culture and science in an astonishing way that will change the way you look at the sky.

The sharing of this knowledge has been referred to as a healing experience by many communities across the world.

Head to the RMSC and reserve your spot today.
